Mary Anne McLafferty, born July 30, 1945, in Guelph, Ontario, passed away on December 24, 2010, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Survived by husband John McLafferty, daughters Kama McLafferty and Taryn McLafferty (Trevor Dzioba), grandchildren Kelsey and Kathryn Harkness, and Rayne, Stone, and Hank Dzioba. MaryAnne was predeceased by her father Daniel McKenzie, daughter Dorian Lee McLafferty, brother Micheal McKenzie, and mother Dorothy Wells McKenzie Crowley. The family wishes to express their immense gratitude to the staff of Five Hills Health Region Palliative Care, and Home Care programs. Their timely, professional, and compassionate support during the last several months allowed us to honor Mary Anne’s choices with dignity and privacy.
